The Kimberly Steaks ‎– Confessions of a Justified Cynic LP (splatter vinyl)

Brassneck Records (neck060)

13 track album on either slime coloured vinyl (ltd to 100 copies) or green splatter vinyl (limited to 200 copies). SLIME VINYL is SOLD OUT.

In September 2019 The Kimberly Steaks released their 3rd album "Confessions of a Justified Cynic" as a digital only release. Now, after what can only be described as a slightly downbeat start to the year, 2020 sees a physical version available for pre-order via Brassneck Records with official release date set for Halloween 2020.

For the uninitiated, The Kimberly Steaks are a Glaswegian punk trio who belt out up-tempo, fuzzy pop punk inspired equally by 'Kerplunk' era Green Day & 'Masonic Youth' era Scared of Chaka. But don't worry if neither of those bands float your boat cos the Steaks have got something special going on. Other than the seemingly relentless ability to crank out catchy songs, the lyrics are a thing of self-deprecating beauty. Disaffected anthems from north of the border. But don't take my word for it, you can stream and download the whole thing over at Bandcamp / Spotify / etc.

The vinyl pressing also includes 2 songs not available on the digital version.

A1 Too Far Gone
A2 What Happened To Me
A3 M74 Revisited
A4 All We Had
A5 Lifeless Company
A6 Out Of Life
B1 Suffocated
B2 Nothing To Think About
B3 Running Out The Clock
