It would be very easy to dismiss a Canadian pop punk record about birds as a novelty with no redeeming value beyond that. It's also very easy to be stupid, so let's look a little deeper. This is actually a very well crafted collection of songs that are a lot smarter than the stoned birds on the record sleeve would have you believe. And guess what, some of the songs are actually metaphors for.. well life and stuff other than birds. Mind you, even the songs that are just about the joys of bird watching are a real good time so I invite you to give this one a chance cos it's a firm favourite here at Brassneck.
