Zero Bars have been playing around Toronto for a couple years now, refining their attack into the potent set documented on a pair of demo tapes. The sound is raw, tough, and impassioned, drawing on early American hardcore and unafraid of genre-blurring post-punk curveballs, recalling the likes of Really Red or the Proletariat. This is punk rock with brains alongside the brawn, its smart, critical lyrics very much of our age.
'Zero Bars' is the group's first vinyl release, collecting both demos and a new track on a high-quality 12" pressing, cut hot and pressed on 45.
